A few days ago DD and I were out and about and made a visit to one of our semi-local gems...in the form of a visit up at the lake in the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains. One of my favorite parts about being up there is soaking in some of the most beautiful homes (if we still lived in NY they would be called camps).
I love that dock...and can you imagine having that view everyday? I love when people decorate for the 4th! We only noticed maye 3 houses yesterday. I'm guilty of not doing so, but I do fly my flag proudly!
ReplyDeleteContinue having a safe holiday weekend!
Love, Jenn
Those people may have thought you were a PI out front taking pics of their home....or a magazine!;) By the way, it's a lovely little camp!
ReplyDeleteLove that house!
ReplyDeleteI have a little something for you on my blog!
Hi, Belle-Ah ...
ReplyDeleteJust a note to let you know I have awarded you the Arte y Pico Award which you can read about in "Southern Lagniappe."
I enjoyed your 4th of July post and loved the pictures. We're going to be vacationing in Blue Ridge, Georgia, the end of August. We can't wait!
Sincerely,
Janie
I had a friend whose mom had one of these super fancies on a lake in North georgia and it was pure heaven. have been talking about it ever since!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh! That is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pictures!
I just love Northern Georgia! I'm sure the rest is beautiful, too, but the northern part is all we've really visited!
Blue Ridge! Ah, Blue Ridge! Gonna miss not visiting this year....
Blessings,
Julie
P.S. How's the water situation, now? It was really pretty bad when we visited last year. The lake looks "up" in your pictures!!!
Very cool!
ReplyDeleteHoping you and your family had a great 4th!
My oh My! Just LOVE the south!
ReplyDeleteHey, I use to live in Toccoa, GA! I was small when I moved from there, but love going through and remembering!!
Hey!
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog and I'm loving it! This picture reminds me of the homes on the road to my house in north Georgia! How funny it would be if that were my town but I don't believe I've seen that house before.
