Chick Flick Video Alert...

Yes, girls, it is a Chick Flick Video alert! I bought Steel Magnolias on DVD last night for only $5.50 at Target! If you don't already own this lasting testament to girl friends, mother/daughter relationships, marriage and don't forget cantankerous old ladies with big slobbery dogs RUN to Target and indulge yourself...you will be glad you did.

    Definitly one of my favorite movies of all times! Some of the best lines are from that movie.

    I *heart* that movie! It is one of my all-time favorites...right up there with Gone With The Wind and The Divine Secrets of The Ya-ya Sisterhood.

    I was just thinking about "blush and bashful" the other day when I was picking out nail polish at the store, and here are the Steel Magnolias again. This is like a classic for Southern women. Anyone thinking of moving down here should be required to watch it! It's funny 'cause it's TRUE.

    At work last week, when some people were gossiping I was thinking of that line from Clarice "Well, you know what they say: if you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!" That is also one of my all time favorites.
