I haven’t been writing much these days, notice? Actually, I am in one of those seasons where I feel torn between choices and commitments and am not sure which direction I should go so I tend to get bogged down. I vacillate between this choice and that choice and back again. So…hang on, hopefully I will soon have some peace and be back to chatting along in blogland.
Glad your back ... i've checked here a bunch of times, cuz' your blog's so fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're missed!
ReplyDeleteI have had some comments from you, so I figured all was well, just busy! :)
Well, hallelujah, she reappears! I've been worried about you. Glad to see you back.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your decisions. I know you'll make the right ones.
I understand. I get overwhelmed with it all too. I love your blog and your decorating tips were so fun! Ended up with an antique!
ReplyDeleteI'm tagging you! See my blog for details http://daisysdelights.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI hope you can come back to blog soon. We miss you!
I check in often too and have missed your posts.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Cathy
Good to see you posting again.
ReplyDeleteI just tagged you. See my blog!
I was hoping everything was ok. Take care, and I look forward to catching up when you have time again.
ReplyDeleteYou have been missed! I hope that you are able to work out all that is keeping your bogged down. I'll be thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteJen
Miss ya!
ReplyDeleteOh do I identify with what you wrote... when I have important decisions to make, I usually draw myself inward to work through them, then once on the other side (having decided) can go back to being chatty and sharing with my friends...
ReplyDeleteThose times of being introverted and studying/surveying the situation can be tense, and I do hope you have a place of comfort and if not please do email me if you need to chat.
I hear ya, sista. It seems those with the younger kiddos have more time to write. I find that having one 19 and 16--those lovely teenage years--is making it harder and harder for me to be on track with this blogging stuff. I enjoy it, but, well, it takes time. And I usually should be doing other productive things :)
ReplyDeleteCheck in, I miss ya.
Jan
We understand. It is always important to take some time for you.
ReplyDeleteMiss you lots :)
ReplyDeleteI can relate 100%! It seems to be one of those seasons. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHoping you find your peace, and that one of your choices is not to leave blog land. I so miss you posts. Prayers for peace and contentment and knowing which are the right choices and commitments for you my dear friend!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Jen
I know what you mean. I've been struggling to get posts done and I feel like I haven't regained momentum since the holidays.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Sandy
I hope you are able to return to regular blogging soon, but in the man time that your time to yourself be gentle and restorative.
ReplyDeleteI saw this a while ago but I just thought I'd let you know we'd love to just hear what you've been up to whenever you have a chance.
ReplyDeletePeace to you~
ReplyDeleteHi there! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I love your photos and "mission" to help those little southern girls have some of that southern flair! I love it! We recently had a group of girls here for a church weekend and had to do dinner for them. It was really fun to teach them about setting a table, which fork comes first, etc! Loved it!! We gotta pass it on girl!
ReplyDeleteStop by often!
Just wanted to drop a note to say HI and hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week.
Blessings,
Sandy :)
Your blogging friends are missing your posts!
ReplyDeleteRegarding my hope chest: It's actually very simple. I was wanting to recover mine for years & even got a $500 quote from someone to do it for me (which I obviously did not go with because that seemed like a crazy quote). Anyway, one day when I was going through the hope chest I found the instructions on how to recover. All you do is:
open your chest up, unscrew all the screws, and then the fabric top piece easily removes. I did not bother taking my old fabric off....I just cut the new fabric to fit over the top, then stapled with a staple gun underneath. My husband had to help me screw it back on as we needed to hands so the top would not slide...that's all there was. Very easy...no sewing involved! If you are like me, you just didn't notice the screws underneath, that's all...right under the seat part.
