Oh YEAH, it is the time of the year that my boys develop a deep love of reading! They will literally sit for hours pouring over this most important of literature. This is the reading material that takes over their lives and becomes tattered and worn from use. Of course, I am talking about the annual arrival of the Christmas toy catalogs!!! What did YOU think I meant?
Too funny! I remember doing this as child, but it was the Sears catalog! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Tee hee! We were "reading" the Lillian Vernon catalog this morning. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter did this all weekend. So much fun. Mary
ReplyDeleteHaaha, my boys do the same thing! We got ours this week too! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL For my brother and sister and me, it was Montgomery Ward! It's so funny and wonderful that the more things change, you can count on some things to stay the same. Thanks for popping over to take a peek at my spot....yours is MUCH prettier! :o) xoxo Andie
ReplyDeletei was just telling my mom to bad we don't have the Sears book. I wore mine out every year. My grandaughter like your sons got the Toysrus book and will not put it down!
ReplyDeleteCute pic! Have they made a long list yet?
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny because they look so serious in that picture! Like they're reading Chaucer!
ReplyDeleteHi ,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I've come to visit you before but I have your blog bookmarked and I remember your beautiful banner so either way I'm visiting your lovely blog and will come back for a again. And that really is a beautiful banner.
What sweet boys! I love it!!! The holidays!! I remember doing the VERY same thing and circling everything with magic marker!
ReplyDeleteHad that same moment last Sunday. Little One circled everything in the book. Well, except for the "pink" pages, of course.
ReplyDeleteSB has been doing the same thing. This week he's obsessed with the etoys catalog. First he goes through and circles his favorites. Then he goes through a second/third/millionth time and folds over pages that are REALLY his favorites. I drew the line when he asked if he could take the catalog to bed.
