This morning I took my youngest DS to have his Kindergarten placement testing. He breezed through all the letters, numbers, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills easily. There was one blip though….in the section where the teacher asked DS to name opposites. One of the questions was:
“If Mommies are women then Daddies are……PIRATES!” …now, that explains a lot about my family.
That is so funny. Thanks for laugh.. Kids are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute story! Thanks for the giggle (and wonderful picture, too!)
ReplyDeleteYou know, that shirt goes great with the beautiful foliage. What an awesome pic!
ReplyDeleteYes, Daddy's are pirates.
Ahoy, Matey!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a mighty good lookin' Pirate you have pictured here! :-) Shirt matching the lilacs even. :-)
ReplyDeleteOr are they not lilacs?

Mizz Mari-Naci,

ReplyDeleteAhhhh, it's Wisteria! Thank you. Oh my yes. I've seen pictures of it before. Simply beeeeeeeeeutiful. -sigh-

I'd say, in your case...daddies are really cute! That is a great pic with the shirt matching the wisteria (which has been gorgeous this year). I think you should frame that one for your desk.

That's cute. I'd chalk it up to the days you spent in Charleston. What healthy boy wouldn't be dreaming of pirates after visiting there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute story, Belle-ah!
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since I was here last...I think I missed so much!
I had forgotten that your son and one of my daughters were the same age. We home school, or she'd be going into Kindergarten next fall. (But I remember the placement test a couple years ago with my oldest...)
And even though I have just girls, they are both really into Peter Pan right now...ARRR! ;)
Nothing new here. It's time for a new entry, Dear. :-)

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. It's nice to meet another Georgia blogger and the links on your side bar sound interesting also. I'll be checking them out!
Happy, happy, happy...
ReplyDelete'Victoria' magazine is to be re-launched. Isn't that marvelous??? :-)
I got the news from others, and have made an entry.
