Odometer reading...

I was in the car (where I tend to spend most of my time) and looked down and noticed my odometer reading....198765! Yes, that would be 198,785 -- my car is a really great car and I can't wait to actually turn over the soon to arrive 200,000 but I thought 198765 was kinda cool.
Happy Friday, all!

  1. I am glad someone else takes pictures of their odometers! I did at 99999 and at 111111 and all my friends made fun of me!

    How are you BTW,
    Meg

  9. Well I'm at 113,000+ and just had to put a little money into mine. DH said maybe I should think about a newer car, the man just has no faith!

A car to a mama is like a second home, we do live in them most of the time, sounds like you have a very good friend there my dear! Happy motoring.

  10. That you got such a great photo of it is awesome. I had a 1991 Pontiac (I bought it new and was the only owner) and in 2002 I hit 300,000 miles on it. Same engine, same tranny. Hell I didn't even have to replace the original water pump or fuel pump until well over 200,000 miles. Best car I ever had next to this 2004 Corolla we have now.

  11. Isn't that amazing!! There was a guy around here a few years ago who had a Toyota that clicked over 1,000,000. So, then the odometer starts at 0 again. He contacted Toyota about it but they didn't seem interested in publicizing. I suppose they don't want people to know that they might go that long. LOL!! As much as cars cost now they should go forever.
