My dear friend, Mrs. G over at: http://lifeatnumber17.blogspot.com/ has a lust in her heart for Autumn. The kind of Autumn not generally found in the deep south. She longs for the Autumns I experienced while living in NY...the kind where you can wear wool and layers and look oh, so L.L. Bean (comfortably).
When we lived in NY one of my favorite weekend haunts was Bennington, VT. Also, the home to Bennington Pottery http://www.benningtonpotters.com/potters-yard.html ; and some dandy shopping, though not quite as dandy as in Manchester, VT http://www.manchesterdesigneroutlets.com/.
Well, Dear Mrs. G here is some Fall in Photo for YOU!

ReplyDeleteWow, what a lovely photograph. We just don't get falls like that down here do we? I don't miss the colder weather though.

ReplyDeletethanks for the Fall Fix...and for the previous fall color photo, too...you take such great photos...I can see you being a professional photographer :)
I saw your post at Keri's. You know I am from Columbus. My parents are still down there, in Phenix City. Keri's hubby & I were good friends in high school. I lived a block off of Lakebottom/Idle Hour when Ryland & I met. (I actually put a contract on the house the morning of the day we met!)
ReplyDeleteIt is a small, small world.
I LOVE THAT CHURCH! I love the change of seasons which we hardly have here in Florida. I love the cool crisp autumn air, brown and gold leaves.....oh man I hope we get SOME of that this year in North FL.
ReplyDeleteHey, I've seen that church. IRL!! Even in the fall. It's beautiful.
