Family Room view from kitchen
This is our formal living room where the blog happens. You can see my computer armoire on the right side (this view is from the family room). My plan for this room is go get rid of the sofa and chair and replace them with a couple of comfy leather club chairs/ottoman and some nice book shelves. The room has 4 windows and doors on the other 2 wall so large pieces don't work in there. The computer armoire is actually sitting at an angle and partially in front of a window!
Breakfast area where we eat most of our meals, do crafts, school work and lots of other activities.
Kitchen! My plans here include changing out the appliances to black...one day. Can I fix you a glass of sweet tea or cup of coffee while you are here?
This is our formal dining room. We enjoy using it even on "non-holidays".
I love houses and especially those that become homes. Thanks for stopping by and spending some time in the place God has blessed for us. This is a link about a post I did some months ago concerning my "house love" Southern Somedays: Homes
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almight."
Psalm 91:1 (NIV)
thanks so much for the tour...you home has a warm feeling about it!!!

I'm sure you have been over to the clearance store at old alabama and holcomb bridge...I got my television stand there for 1,300.00 less than the catalogue. ReplyDeleteI will have to check out the other link/catalog you mentioned because we obviously both have fabulous taste! I am telling you the outlet is amazing! My armoire is in the catalog so you can look it up if you want. We stole it I'm tellin' ya. They have a really big spot right at Old Alabama (it dead ends into the shopping center)and Holcomb bridge. Do you know the area? They have tables, chairs, armoires, rugs, clocks, cabinets, everything and they send out these flyers with 30% off all the time.

ReplyDeleteI am inspired by your story about dreams changing....I, too, have dreams that I sense I will have to part with or perhaps "trade up" for newer dreams.
Bless you.
Oh, and I think deep hunter green on one wall in your family room would make it pop, and perhaps, bring you to the mountains of Georgia in your mind. :) A deep sage green on the other walls. :)
